On May 11th, 2009, six healthy puppies were born. Gaia proves to be a fantastic mom. She took care of everything herself, severed the umbilical cords, removed the membranes and placentas, cleaned the puppies up and motivated them to drink. She takes her job very serious and rarely leaves the puppies, only when she has to eat or get out briefly. The puppies were evenly divided into three males and three females. |
